Songs and Stories of the American Civil War
Presented by Charlie Zahm
Charlie Zahm prsented an incredible evening of entertainment with songs and stories of the Civil War.
A gifted vocalist, guitarist, storyteller, and interpreter of historical music, Charlie kept us on thge edge of seats for the full hour, and “warned” us he coud go two more, but didn’t.
Interwoven throughout the performance were poems and verses that captured the sentiments of the age, giving voice to the courage, anguish, patriotism, and profound human cost of a war that changed America forever.
